Today is the best. My husband took my son and I to Rumah Terbalik Port Dickson (Art Gallery Upside Down). At first, I was a bit shy. I just stood and smiled at the camera. Then I was so excited that I became myself. I trained my students for drama competitions, of course it's easy for me to act in front of the camera. My husband really enjoyed himself taking my photos. Both of us laughed and laughed. My son was not interested. He just looked around that place. I told my son that it's not wrong for people like me (yalah, we are not small kids) to have fun in Rumah Terbalik. We also want to pose creatively for our photos. It is art.

We are in Avillion Admiral Cove Hotel, Port Dickson today. Our second time coming here. It's only for one night. Ok ler. This time, we're lucky because we can stay in a seaview room. I didn't want to miss the stunning view, so I took a few photos using my mobile phone and my instant camera. I still remember how to change the instant film cartridge. It's so easy.

I had already discussed with my sister. For the akad nikah, I will prepare two dishes - sambal udang and sambal tempoyak daun kayu. On the wedding day, I will bring brownies ( order ler ). Just want to add more in her menu list. The two dishes, I prefer to cook them at my home. As the akad nikah will be at night, I have ample time to do it. And I have an assistant to help me, tadaaaa - my son. About the sambal tempoyak daun kayu, I just go to the market. I will tell the seller that I am going to cook this dish, so she will help me to get those things prepared like the green leafy vegetables, small chillies ( I use a bit - buat syarat aje), turmeric, lemongrass, tempoyak paste and petai. I only stand there checking those things. Easy right. Two more ingredients are the coconut milk and anchovies. I don't use onions for my sambal tempoyak daun kayu. My family, including my mother and bang ngah love my sambal tempoyak daun kayu. Hopefully, the guests will love it too....

My husband had fever last night. I wanted to take him to his school this morning but he refused. I told him, may be because of the exercises that he did for the past few days, his body was shocked and that's why he had fever. His body will get used to the exercises, he'll be ok. And better, Insya Allah. I am not worried. How about me? My exercise? Well, I spend my time in my garden every morning for watering and inspecting my plants. Sometimes, in the evening, I would also go to my garden. Raking the dried leaves and flowers. Or just enjoyed sitting there, looking at my flowers. Smelled the pink roses or the melur flowers. It's so calm, listening to the birds chirping and tweeting. The best music, I think. Ok it's time for gardening. Ba bye.

My husband took me and my son to Parameswara, Umbai last Saturday. And this evening, he took us to AEON Bandaraya. He bought something for himself. So did our son. I bought....nothing ler. It's their day. I had no problem. I just enjoyed looking at the things. As usual, "cuci mata" ler. There were so many people in the mall. I didn't bring my instant camera today. I had already taken many photos - my family, flowers and the views. I still have two boxes of instant film. Next week, my husband will take us somewhere. It's Deepavali holidays. Oh ya, my right eye is ok now. Alhamdulillah.

My first time cooking sambal udang at my parents in law's house. I still remember my sister in law and her family were all there. For the sambal, I boiled the dried chillies first before blending it. They thought my sambal might be hot. Yalah I'm a Nogori lady. But after they tasted it, taraaa - it's sweet. It's "sambal" but it's not "pedas". And my "asam pedas" is not "pedas", only "asam". My Kelantanese husband can eat his wife's sambal and asam pedas, all because of this. I did eat hot food but after eating it, the toilet would call me, "Mari, mari, mari". That's why I cannot eat hot food. If only a mild one, it's ok ler.

Settled fertilizing all my plants this morning. Then I had breakfast with my son. I ordered Nasi lemak and lempeng for both of us. It's cool, eating under a tree. Love this place. After that, we went shopping. I bought two small pails to put the soil and my gardening tools. The old ones were broken. I also bought a packet of knitted cotton gloves for gardening. There're 12 pairs. Good! My son was touched because I bought him a big BPA free bottle. He drinks a lot when having live, either playing games or promoting products. So, he asked me to choose the ice creams there. He wanted to give me a treat. I pointed a box of Magnum Mini Classic Belgian Chocolate. It's rm17.50. He asked me, "Why ?". I just answered, " Your papa always bought me this ice cream". Then he said," I have only rm20 cash". I smiled at him and said, " it's more than enough". At the cashier counter, he gave me his rm20 and I accepted it. On the way to my car, I...

If we think the world is beautiful, it will look beautiful to us. If we think our task is easy, it will be easy to us. Although it's actually a hard, impossible task. Everything is from our mind. The way we set it or the way we think. All from our mind. To have a strong mind, we must take care of our health. Don't overuse your energy, don't forget to eat, must have a " me time " and yup, have a quality sleep. If you feel exhausted, it will affect your mind. Pity your brain. It is tired like you. So take care ok.

A busy day in the garden. Tomorrow, I will put fertilizers to each plant. Insha-Allah, more flowers will be produced. Two of my bougainvillea plants have lots of leaves but the flower is none. I don't know what's wrong. Still water the plants and I never give up. I don't want to replace them because they are still alive. Let them live and grow. At least, I can get oxygen from the bushy leaves of the plants. Thank you.

In a restaurant. Husband and wife were at the hot food counter. They were choosing food for their lunch. And there was also a girl who worked in the restaurant. She kept following the husband. G : Abang, why are you choosing the same fish everytime you come here? You can choose other fish like that one. H : No. If I like one fish, it will be the same one. I won't change. W : (smiled to herself) Then the girl left. Husband and wife continued their mission - having lunch together.

I love sending messages to my husband. But not every day. And I cannot expect a fast reply from him. When he is free , he will reply it. I just shared something that I did. My husband didn't ask me to but I just wanted to inform him. Like today, sharing picture of going shopping. Or sharing picture of the food that I cooked. If the food is special lah. If only fried fish, tak payah ler. A simple communication but he likes it.

My son and I had breakfast near the stadium. My son always slept after his subuh prayer. But this morning, he wanted to follow me. Everybody was happy to meet my son. They called him, "anak mama". He just smiled. A dentist was also there having breakfast with her husband. She asked me about my mother. My mother had a treatment once in her clinic. That's how she knows her. So, we had a morning chat. My son just listened to our story. Then she asked my son about his study. I told her that he didn't want to further his study. He wants to be a gamer. The dentist laughed. She looked at my son and said, "It's ok. That's your choice". My son looked at her and smiled. After having breakfast, I accompanied my son shopping. While he was choosing the things that he wanted to buy, I took a selfie of us. I sent the picture to my husband. He just replied, "Bergembiralah". Sounds sad.

Every morning, before subuh prayer, I read surah Al Waqiah ( I also read this surah at night ). After subuh prayer, I read surah Yaasin. That's how I start my morning. But I did google for the news. I finished planting and repotting. My husband didn't like what I did. There're so many plants. He didn't want me to feel tired. Last night, I told him that I saw a small bird flying from one plant to another plant. The bird was enjoying itself in my garden. That makes me happy. Actually, all my plants were planted in a pot. Except one purple plant. My husband planted it years ago. I have reasons to have potted plants. One of them is easy for me to rearrange the plants. Find the best place for them to grow beautifully and healthily. Oh ya I have already used my instant camera. My first photo is my son, smiling at me. Love the photo. I put it in my pink Instax photo album. A very small album. Easy to carry it together with the camera. Yes! Take care and ba bye.

Part 3 My son said that it's my day yesterday. I bought things that l like. I just smiled and smiled. Ok I continue my story. After Mahkota Parade, we went to Selera Kampungku, Klebang to have our dinner. Then we went to the mosque to perform our Maghrib prayer. Before going to my sister's house, I went to Family Mart to buy something for her, my brother in law and my niece. Surprisingly, her other two daughters and their family were there too. My sister didn't inform me. If not, I would buy chocolates for my sister's grandchildren. It was really like hari raya. Bestttt. We had a long chat. We talked about so many things, including her youngest daughter's wedding next year. Around 10 p.m., my husband showed a signal to me. So, we had to go home and before leaving, I gave angpow to my sister's grandchildren. I'm their Wan Su ler. We reached home safely. It was a tiring day but the satisfaction was maximum. Alhamdulillah. And thank you to my dearest husban...

Part 2 Our next destination was Pak Man Asam Pedas Restaurant. The problem is when we reached that place, we saw a long queue outside the restaurant.. It was 2 p.m. and we were hungry. So we changed our plan. We went to Dap'O Nasi Sup Daging Bakar at MITC to have our lunch. Then, we went to Mahkota Parade. We were not only cuci mata but I also bought something. It's Instax mini 12, an instant camera. I thought of buying it during the year end sales but the towkey said the price will be the same. He gave me two gifts, a transparent hard case and a box of instant film. The batteries were inside the camera box. No need to buy. I bought two boxes of instant film as there're only ten sheets in a film cartridge. Better buy extra ler. I chose a pink camera. The towkey showed me first on how to put the film cartridge and the batteries into the camera. He also taught me on how to use it. Then using the films that he gave me free, he asked me to put it myself ....

We went to many places yesterday (Saturday). From morning until night. First, my dak, dik, duk place - Gadek nursery. My husband and our son just waited in the car. I put on my hat that I bought at Pasar Senin, Mache and ready to go for plants shopping. Yahoooo. Many ladies there. No objection that all of us are flower lovers because it could be seen clearly from our face expression. We were very excited. I did give my opinion about certain plants. Helped a bit la. Chewahhh. I bought Japan roses ( white, red, orange). No need to buy the pink ones because I already have them in my garden. I also bought dark purple flower Senduduk, the viral pokok Salji, peach Rose plant, pink Calla Lily plant and purple Calla Lily plant. Oh ya , I also bought a non flower plant . But sorry. I forgot to ask its name . The leaves are very small, bushy and green+ light purple. I put the plant on the rock table in my garden. Decor a bit ler. Cantikkk. After buying the plants, of cours...

I saw this guy , He was walking with his friends, I felt something, But I didn't know what. Late to my class, I just ran without thinking, A group of boys teased me, But why this guy only looked at me. Studied in the same class, I was happy to see him, We kept looking at each other, But not even a single word came out. A friend of mine asked his status, Single or had a girlfriend, He said none, Wow that's good news. Asked him again whether he liked a Nogori girl, He said sorry, He only liked Kelantanese or Trengganu girl, Hmmm that's bad news. But when they met again, He asked her about the girl, My friend asked him to guess, And he said my name. Looking at my friend, He told her this, "I don't mind to marry a Nogori girl if it is her", Then my friend looked at him, And said , "Yes, it's her".

I watched TV Alhijrah programme "30 minit bersama Ustaz Dato' Hj Shamsuri Hj Ahmad". This is a story from him...... A conversation between a boss and his driver. They were listening to a religious talk while on the way to their destination. B : I don't like to listen to this religious talk. At the end of the talk , ustaz will always ask us to give sadaqah, wakaf. I don't like it. D: Why? B : I worked so hard to become rich like this. Why can't I bring all my money to my grave after I die? Why do I have to sadaqah? D : Well, boss. When you went to Mecca to perform your umrah, did you use our Ringgit Malaysia? B : I had to follow the country's currency. I used the Saudi riyal. D : When you spent your holidays in London? B : I used the pound sterling. D : And last week. When you went to Singapore with your wife? B : Well, I used Singapore dollars. D : Akhirat also has its own currency that is "pahala" or rewards. You cannot use your Ringgit Malay...

All couples have problems, including my husband and I. We had a very big problem in our early marriage. We wanted to have a child. We did have other problems but that was our biggest problem. I had a few miscarriages . And then we have our son. But he was always sick when he was small. We worked together as a team for our son. May be, I put more efforts than my husband but I didn't mind. Alhamdulillah, my son is 20 years old now. He's healthy and happy with his life. My husband and I have our own weakness and strength. But we cover the weakness with our strengths. Whatever it is, we must have a big L in our marriage. A big L? Yes, it is Love 💕.

Everytime, before my husband goes to work, he wants to see me at the door, waving good bye to him. As a housewife@retiree, ok lah I can do it. But actually not only that, he loves seeing me "doa" for him. How did he know that? Simple, he saw my lips moving like saying something when he reversed his car. But I told my husband earlier that it's not a spell or jampi. It's only a "doa" or prayer from his wife. He just said, " I know". The doa 1. Bismillahillazi la yadurru ma'asmihi syaiun fil ardi wala fis samai wahuas sami'ul 'alim 2. A'uzubikalimatillahit tammati min syarrima kholaq. 3. Ya Allah Ya Hafiz Ya Muhaimin And i also read it when my son was studying in Tahfiz school.

I don't cook when my husband comes home late, except when my mother is staying with us. So I found a new place where I can buy breakfast and lunch straightaway. The place is not a restaurant. It's just a street food tent, opposite Bandar Satelit. You can see only one tent there in the morning. The food, not that varieties like in the restaurant but I love the food the girl sold. Especially the desserts. Every day, she sells different desserts and all are tip-top. Her aunty cooked all the food. She just helped her. A good girl.

Kro.... kro..... , "What is that?" Woke up at midnight, Turned to my left side, Oh, He's sleeping soundly. After years of marriage, Hearing that sound, Is it annoying? Or I feel nothing. One night, It's very quiet, But I couldn't sleep, I looked at his face, "Is he ok?" I was worried, Slowly, I put my left ear near his mouth, And I heard soft sound, Smiling, I closed my eyes to sleep.

Today, I sewed my husband's hippo soft pillow and mine. I only know two ways of sewing, sembat susup and sembat. So, for this problem, I chose sembat. While sewing the tear, I remembered Cikgu Ros in Pendekar Bujang Lapok movie. Wahhh, the memory of that sewing scene came into my mind. I asked my husband who was lying on the sofa, "Do I look like Cikgu Ros in Pendekar Bujang Lapok?" My husband didn't answer. He was watching something on his phone. Suddenly , I heard the music of "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" song. I started humming and my body moved slowly left and right, following the beautiful music.. Then I heard a belly laugh from my husband. He said, "Ya, really like Cikgu Ros". I just laughed together with him.

A Malay proverb, "buat baik berpada-pada". My late father always said that to me . I thought "buat baik berpada-pada" is like doing good things. But why "berpada-pada?" We must have a limit. For example, if you want to give people some money or you want to help people - that's good. It's very good but make sure you save some for yourself. And it's not only money, may be your time or energy. You want to be good - go ahead but don't spend all. Save some ok. Take care.

Every weekend, my husband and I have a breakfast date. We'll go to our favourite eateries. Or are they my favourite eateries? Never mind lah. As long as you go somewhere or do something with your loved ones, that is happiness. For our son, his food will be packed. But today, not only we packed our son's food but also for my nephew. Same breakfast for them. It's chicken rendang nasi lemak. My nephew is helping me to cut the grass in my garden. It's his part-time job. A diligent young man. And two sets of roti jala for my mother and my bang ngah. Before we went to the market this morning, I went to her house first, to give the food to her. My mother just had nasi lemak last Friday. So it's better different food for her. And today is Sunday. I am going to cook something special for my family. Well, my husband always said that the food is not special but the person who cooked the food is special. Chiya chiya chiya. Ok take care and ba bye.

Guess, where did we go today? Surprise, it's Melaka ler. I love Melaka , not only because of the food. I can also go window shopping, cuci mata ler. Like today, my husband took me and my son to AEON Bandaraya Melaka. We did shopping first. No lah. We went to the toilet first then we went to the food court. I love cendol gula Melaka. Not that sweet. After having lunch, we went to the surau for our Zuhur prayer. My husband didn't set the time limit. My son and I could go to any shops that we liked in the mall while he would wait for us, relaxing on the bench. Our first destination is Kaison. I love Kaison because of the soft toys there, especially teddy bears. There are also lots and lots of flowers. My son bought a striped wastebasket for his bedroom. Me? Only TLP . Take, look and put it back. Hahahaha. Then we went to KKZ. That shop has so many cute, cute things. I think all girls will love shopping there. Doughnut soaps, fruit erasers, beauty products like face ...

"Allah beri saya kesusahan satu bahagian tetapi Allah beri saya kesenangan pada banyak bahagian" - beautiful words from a very special person. I watched Al Hidayah on TV3 yesterday evening. That episode was about him. Yup, what he said is correct. We should be grateful to Allah. Allah gives us difficulty only for one part but for other parts, Allah makes them easy for us. Always be positive like him. And always be thankful to Allah for everything.

Husband was driving. W : I feel like eating a slice of cake. A walnut cake...ummmmmmm. H : Are you hungry? W : No, I just said it lah. They went to a petrol station. Husband asked again. H : Do you want a cake? W : It's ok. I will have dinner straightaway when we reach home. That night, husband went out again . W : Did you go shopping? H : I bought eggs. W : Only eggs? H : Yelah. Do you want me to buy something? Looked at her husband... W : Nothing ( 🍰 ) Today's lesson.... 1. Husband doesn't know what his wife really wants. He's not a mind reader. So, it's not his fault. 2. Don't feel shy to say what you want. Senang aje. A piece of cake.

Yesterday, I didn't cook. I took my mother to have breakfast at a restaurant in Bandar Satelit . Then, in the afternoon, my mother, my son and I had lunch in Secret Recipe. My son forgot about my birthday last month. I didn't tell him. He was not happy. Then he heard that I wanted to buy a camera. He ordered on TikTok a pink camera for me but it was sold out. So he cancelled the order . He ordered another camera - Hello Kitty camera. Today, I received two cameras - the pink and Hello Kitty camera. Hello Kitty's box is more special. It's a black box and has a black ribbon on the box. It looked exclusive. Yup, it's for my birthday. My son was angry because the shop still sent the one that he had already cancelled the order. I told my son that I would pay for the pink camera. I understand his situation. I am so touched because my son still wanted to give me a birthday present. Thank you. The cameras are so cute 🥰.

On the way to the mosque H : What is the excuse you are going to tell your mosque gang tonight? W : hmmmm H : Just say you are lazy. W : No, I am not lazy. I just have to do something after Maghrib. That's the reason I didn't go to the mosque. H : But tonight? W : We have Sirah. On the way home H : What did you tell your friends? W : I said sorry to Kak S. H : What did she say? W : Kak S said it's ok because I have work to do at home. And I just smiled to other akaks. H : Ok. W : All of them are very nice. They are "orang masjid".
