Speechless
Since yesterday I didn't cook. Lots of things to do. This morning, my dearest husband cooked fried bihun for us. Wahhhh I really love his bihun. But my mother in law's (Ma) fried bihun is still the best one. No prawns , no squids . It's a simple fried bihun but the taste is umph .
I still remember there's a day , we're going to have guests that morning. Ma's relatives were coming . Ma wanted to serve them fried bihun but instead of she's cooking it, she asked me. Well, I thought it's easy so I just said ok.
My fried bihun was ready. Our guests were waiting to taste it. So taraaa. But the guests just put a little bihun on their plate. Ate it but didn't want to add. My Kelantanese niece who was seven years old at that time ( she's an ustazah now ) looked at me and shook her head slowly. I was curious about the taste . Then I looked at my husband . He put a full plate of fried bihun and ate it. He ate, ate and ate. He just focused on his food and finished it.
After the guests left, I went to the kitchen and wanted to taste it. I ate my bihun and mummy , the taste was bad.
Then I went to our bedroom and my husband was there. I looked at him, wanted to cry. I asked him why he ate my awful bihun. He just smiled and said, " awak yang masakkan ". I was speechless and felt like there's waterfall in my heart.
