I was in a bank, accompanying my son. He had a problem with his ATM card. While waiting for our turn to meet the officer, there's a lady talking to her. She wanted to make a bank loan. She retired early in 2023 and will start receiving her pension this year ( we're the same age ). Then she looked at me and smiled. But I didn't smile back. In my mind, I was doing the calculations and thinking of the causes and effect.  

Sigh. She should do a 2 year + .......month budget first before spending her money. Like I said earlier in my old post, when we retire early,  we must have a few bank accounts to separate the money ( based on our budget ). Then we'll know how to spend it wisely. Aamiin ya Allah.
