May 1 I prefer going to pasar tani now. I love the seafood there and seeing other things that they sold. Boleh cuci mata. Last time, I bought two packets of fertilizer and two peria katak plants. The fertilizer is suitable for all plants. Easy my work la. Today, I bought a big ikan tenggiri to get its eggs and I chose the right fish. Yes! Alhamdulillah. I also bought prawns as my husband made a special request - buttermilk prawns for our lunch. No problem. Just google ler.  Oh ya , I'm so happy to meet my former colleague, Ustaz S there. He was with his wife and his youngest daughter. I think she's in Year One this year. Time flies!    Ok take care and ba bye!
May 1 My nephew's wedding reception will be this month and the theme is orange or oyen, manja gitu. My husband helped google the baju kurung for me last night. At last he found one. Alhamdulillah. I like the design and the colour suits the theme, so I said yes. Then we had to choose the correct size for me. My husband is like my image consultant. I can count on him. After that, the tudung. I asked my husband, "Can I wear my black tudung? " He didn't answer my question. He just said, "cream". See, he's good.
April 28 Yesterday, after sending the food to my niece , my  family had breakfast near the market. Love its roti canai plus kuah dal and sambal kerang.  For lunch, I was a bit lazy so I decided to have a steamboat. I still have the seafood that I bought at pasar tani last Thursday. And for the soup, I used the Adabi chicken stock cube. I didn't add vegetables and fish balls in the soup. Only seafoods. Simple, easy and walla - it's tasty. And for the dipping sauce, no need to think too much, Maepranom Thai sweet chili sauce kan ada. I also  fried oyster mushrooms + garlic + shallots+ chili api. Fuhhh! And for dinner - I only made a simple nasi goreng. But because it's very simple, my husband fried "keropok keping" to eat with the fried rice....best. Thank you 😘.
April 27 This morning, I made "singgang ikan tenggiri" for my niece.  As long as you have enough ingredients, it's so easy to cook. Campak-campak ye hahahaha. About Ateh RR's rendang ayam. Last Friday was my last day of puasa enam. She made that rendang ayam plus nasi impit for me yesterday (Saturday) because it's like my hari raya. I think she's proud of me . I managed to complete my puasa enam this year. Alhamdulillah 💕.
A very busy day but I love every minute of it.  First, my husband and I went to Wedding Village, Ayer Molek. In Melaka ler. We reached the place at 9.30 a.m . We didn't want to miss my nephew's akad nikah. Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly and I'm very sure he'll be a loving husband . He's not afraid or shy to show his love to his wife. I suka suka suka. I also enjoyed meeting my bang long, bang ngah, bang teh , kak chik, their big families and of course, my mother. My late kak Lang's younger daughter and her family were there too. Alhamdulillah. I love the place. It's like we're in a garden. Cantikkkk.  After that, my husband and I went to a mosque nearby to perform our Zuhur prayer before we went to Ateh's house. My RR friend. Yup, I wanted to visit her granddaughter. Her son showed me his daughter, a beautiful baby girl. Oh ya, I brought a present for the baby and also her Hari Raya ang pow. All with love from her Wan........... And before w...
My husband told me this morning that Insya-Allah, this May school holidays, we're going back to Kelantan for a few days. It's good news. I miss my in-laws and of course the food hahaha , especially Nasi kerabu ayam bakar. Then , we'll go to Kuala Terengganu. Stay at Hotel Grand Puteri ler. Maybe one or two nights. Insya- Allah. I love its breakfast.
When my naughty student did a good thing, I would praise him. Although his friends said that he only pretended to be good , he deserved to receive compliments from me, his teacher. He did good things so I just praised him. Simple! Maybe because of that he listened to me and tried his best not to miss my class.  Now, a different situation  I'm a housewife. When my husband praised me, although I know the food that I cooked is not tasty, I feel happy. I will try to cook better food for him.  So please be generous with praise.
April 24 My son and I had our breakfast at a cafe in Bandar Satelit. I don't fast today. Insya-Allah,  tomorrow will be my sixth day or last day of  puasa enam in Syawal. We went to pasar tani first. I bought ikan tenggiri + bla bla bla. I want to cook "singgang ikan" for my niece this Sunday. My late Kak Lang's eldest daughter. She gave birth to a baby boy at the end of Ramadhan. I will google  for the recipe. Easy! Last Sunday, I made "sup ikan senangin" for her ( before I went to Kajang ).  I didn't have to google because it's my mother's recipe. My niece and her daughter, An gave only one comment, " Sedap" . Thank you 💕. And now I know how to make "masak lemak ayam or ikan" yellow. I use green chili api, less red chillies and fresh turmeric. Yup, the colour is beautiful and it is yellow.  # Good news. Ateh RR's son passed his SPM exam. Congratulations! Alhamdulillah 💕.
Husband and wife were having lunch together. His wife cooked " ayam masak lemak cili api". H : Eh ! Why is the coconut gravy orange? It's supposed to be yellow. Husband looked at his wife. She was eating slowly. Feeling guilty, her husband tasted it. H : It's delicious la.  Smiling, the wife looked at her husband .. W : Thank you. Another week......... H : Eh! "Ayam masak lemak" again. W : You said it's  delicious. H : Hmmm.
Today,  I went to Kak F's house with Kak M. I drove my car, "Achik Vee". I bought grapes for Kak F and Kak M also brought something for her. Met a few former colleagues there, my akaks - Kak T, Kak Z, Kak N, Kak J and Kak R. But only for a while because we came late. There's a miscommunication. Never mind la. So happy to meet all of them 💕. I love Kak F's moist lemon cake. She baked it. And her kerabu mangga was superb. Better than mine. It's ok. I'm learning. And she has lots and lots of bromeliads. Wow! They're bigger and prettier. Waa!
Today, as planned, my small family went to Kajang to attend Itam's eldest daughter's wedding. Congratulations Tam. As usual, after we had  lunch,  my husband and our son sat somewhere to give me a chance to meet my friends. Thank you. I really appreciate it.  Achik had already booked a table for our RR friends. So I sat together with Achik, Usu and her daughter. Then we saw Alang and waved at her. Yong, her two daughters and Adik joined us after having their lunch.  Lots of photos were taken. Still had the ngilai-ngilai part. That one we couldn't avoid but not loud la. A girl came and put a satay set on our table. Thank youuu. Twenty minutes before 2 p.m. Alhamdulillah, Along and her son reached the place. Yes! The right time to take photos with the bride's mother @ the host, our cute Itam at the entrance. After that, all of us moved to the wedding dais. Continued taking photos.  Then the bride and the groom came with the MC. Our Itam told the MC that her gang, ...
Husband just returned from a kenduri. H  : I try not to eat rice at night but tonight, I had to eat it. W : Yalah it's kenduri. Everybody must eat.  H : And it's hard to say no to " udang galah ". And it's big. Each of us took one only.  He glanced at his wife. She just kept quiet. He knows "Udang or any seangkatan dengannya" is his wife's favourite.  While he was having his tea, his wife came. W : How did you feel when you ate that udang galah? H : I felt guilty. I know it's your favourite. Wife looked at him, waiting for him to continue his story. H : But you're not there. W : So.... H : I ate that udang galah for you.  Husband laughed. W : Hmmm.....sabar........
Today My mother's  hospital appointment. Met Kak N, my former colleague there. Good news. She received her second granddaughter early Syawal . Congratulations 💕! Tomorrow Gardening and Insya-Allah, fasting.  This Saturday.  Two weddings. My husband's friends' children's wedding. Sunday  Yahoooo! Itam's daughter's wedding in Kajang. Hopefully, all my RR friends will be there, except Angah ( in Penang ), Andak ( in  Australia ) and Ateh ( a new grandma , busy ler).
Sometimes, We think we don't need friends, But who can be our supporters? Who'll stand together with us? Sometimes, We think we don't need friends, But who'll listen to our stories? Who can we  share our problem with? Sometimes, We think we don't need friends, But without them, No gather - gather, No ngilai-ngilai ler, And believe me, Without them, Life will have no fun.
My husband and I are fasting today. It's his sixth fasting day in Syawal and my first. No problem. It's Alhamdulillah. This morning, I didn't want to go out. I just made nasi goreng petai for my son. And meals for breaking fast,  I'm going to make kerabu mangga and ikan bakar with Adabi ikan bakar paste. Ok lah,  simple ones.
There were two open houses yesterday but we just went to one, my niece's. She's Kak chik's daughter. We reached her house around 7 p.m. because my husband had work to do. She and her husband welcomed us with open arms. They were a bit surprised because I told her earlier that we couldn't come. But Alhamdulillah, we could make it. I really enjoyed playing with her children and eating her delicious rendang ayam with nasi impit. Oh ya. I bought something for her family - Mastura wafer sticks and mister potato crisps. Ok lah. And today, my husband took us to FAO. Our son wanted to buy Hot Wheels at Toy World. And he did buy a few. I bought Hello Kitty Hot Wheels but not for me. It's for him. He's not happy with my choice but he accepted it.  Well, it's from his Mama 💕 . When we had "Family makan-makan raya" last time at our home, he only let one person to enter his room. My nephew. My Bang long's son. He wanted to see my son's Hot Wheels colle...
How do I clean up my house? 1.The toilet bowls and the sinks - I use Clorox. 2. The toilet floor - Any floor cleaner ler .  2. The floor & carpet - Philips robot vacuum cleaner helps me a lot. I bought it on Wowshop  during the MCO. It's still ok until now. I can relax or do other works while it's vacuuming the floor.  3.  I seldom use wet cloth. I prefer using kitchen wipes. Easier.
Today's my husband's fifth day of puasa enam. I'm so happy for him although I haven't started it yet. This week, after  performing tahajjud prayer, I would prepare sahur for my husband. It's like in Ramadhan. Then I prepared breakfast for my mother, my son and of course, for me too.  I made soto, fried rice or nasi lemak. I didn't buy breakfast this week, except last Tuesday. And because of preparing breakfast, I didn't  cook for lunch. My rules hahahaha...... Sometimes, I took my mother out to have lunch at Secret Recipe or a cafe in Bandar Satelit. But I would cook for my husband's breaking his fast or dinner for the rest , except yesterday and today. We just bought. Lazy laa. My husband - he's ok.  And tomorrow, my husband plans to cook my favourite bihun goreng. He's going somewhere, so he will cook it first before leaving. Thank youu. He will do his sixth day of fasting in Syawal , Insya- Allah this Monday. And maybe, I will join him. Insya-...

My mother had four siblings. After her youngest sister, my Busu ( died because of a stroke ) and  her younger sister, my Aunty A ( she had cancer ) passed away, she only has two younger brothers now, my Pak chik and Pak Lang. And Alhamdulillah, this hari raya , all three of them met . Pak chik went to my sister's house on the first Syawàl. Then we went to his house on the second Syawal. And last Saturday, he and his family came to my house. My mother looked so happy. And yesterday, Pak Lang, his wife and his grandson came to my house to visit his sister, Kak S. They don't call my mother Kak Long, only Kak S. Well as I said earlier, it's Hari Raya. Meeting, hugging, chatting, laughing ( but not ngilai-ngilai like me and my RR friends ), crying and makan-makan la.  Ops good news. No. It's great news. Ateh RR received her first granddaughter at the end of Ramadhan. She told us, her RR friends that her granddaughter is also our granddaughter, so we call her "RR Grandda...

I made soto early in the morning, before Subuh. Last night, I prepared the begedil and this morning, I fried it. The soup and shredded chicken, all were done this morning. For the mini nasi impit, I used my Noxxa pressure cooker. It took only 30 minutes. My mother has been staying here with my family since last Saturday. And my husband has started his puasa enam today. His sahur is soto. Alhamdulillah . Me? Puasa Enam?

Selamat hari raya. Still in a raya mood.  But i'm not going to talk about hari raya today. It's about the benefit of sadaqah. A week before the first syawal, I wanted to donate some money to the mosque for moreh. But my mother was at my home and she's not well so I didn't go to the mosque. I texted kak S, my mosque friend asked for her help to use her money first then on Wednesday night, I would pay her back and she agreed. Unexpectedly, my left upper eyelid was swollen a bit on Tuesday and I was worried it would become worse the next day. Alhamdulillah, my mother was getting well  and I told her that I had to go to the mosque that Tuesday night. She did notice my swollen eye.  After I gave money to my friend for moreh, I performed my Tahiyatul Masjid. Actually, I  had knee pain. It was very painful if I was from a sitting position to stand up. After I did that prayer, I stretched out my legs. Then I heard "pop" at my left knee. When the imam wanted to start I...
