Ma, my husband's Queen

When i looked at my mother in law, i almost cried. Sometimes, she would remember me and asked my husband about me. When i came near her, she just ignored me and continued eating. But she did answer my questions, very short answers. i don't mind as long as she wants to eat. She didn't want to eat rice or fruits. May be she couldn't. Her legs are the biggest problem. She didn't want to walk but i think she's afraid to walk. Afraid of falling. She did fall once and she might remember that incident. Her son had to lift her to put her on her mattress or on the chair. But i really salute her sons. They still treat her well. For the past few days, i made porridge and chicken soup for her. My husband would blend the chicken and the porridge until it became very smooth. Then he would add the soup to make it taste better. Not only tasty but very healthy. What i want to say here is although they have to lift her, they don't control her food. They still want their mother to eat well. Eat on the chair, not in the bedroom and eat good food. Ma likes to eat apam and banana cake now. She also drinks a glass of ensure gold milk every morning. Alhamdulillah she has no diabetes and that make us less worried. i am very sure Ma realised what her children did for her and she knew they would do anything for her. She is very, very lucky.
