My husband told me this morning that Insya-Allah, this May school holidays, we're going back to Kelantan for a few days. It's good news. I miss my in-laws and of course the food hahaha , especially Nasi kerabu ayam bakar. Then , we'll go to Kuala Terengganu. Stay at Hotel Grand Puteri ler. Maybe one or two nights. Insya- Allah. I love its breakfast.
When my naughty student did a good thing, I would praise him. Although his friends said that he only pretended to be good , he deserved to receive compliments from me, his teacher. He did good things so I just praised him. Simple! Maybe because of that he listened to me and tried his best not to miss my class.  Now, a different situation  I'm a housewife. When my husband praised me, although I know the food that I cooked is not tasty, I feel happy. I will try to cook better food for him.  So please be generous with praise.
April 24 My son and I had our breakfast at a cafe in Bandar Satelit. I don't fast today. Insya-Allah,  tomorrow will be my sixth day or last day of  puasa enam in Syawal. We went to pasar tani first. I bought ikan tenggiri + bla bla bla. I want to cook "singgang ikan" for my niece this Sunday. My late Kak Lang's eldest daughter. She gave birth to a baby boy at the end of Ramadhan. I will google  for the recipe. Easy! Last Sunday, I made "sup ikan senangin" for her ( before I went to Kajang ).  I didn't have to google because it's my mother's recipe. My niece and her daughter, An gave only one comment, " Sedap" . Thank you 💕. And now I know how to make "masak lemak ayam or ikan" yellow. I use green chili api, less red chillies and fresh turmeric. Yup, the colour is beautiful and it is yellow.  # Good news. Ateh RR's son passed his SPM exam. Congratulations! Alhamdulillah 💕.
Husband and wife were having lunch together. His wife cooked " ayam masak lemak cili api". H : Eh ! Why is the coconut gravy orange? It's supposed to be yellow. Husband looked at his wife. She was eating slowly. Feeling guilty, her husband tasted it. H : It's delicious la.  Smiling, the wife looked at her husband .. W : Thank you. Another week......... H : Eh! "Ayam masak lemak" again. W : You said it's  delicious. H : Hmmm.
Today,  I went to Kak F's house with Kak M. I drove my car, "Achik Vee". I bought grapes for Kak F and Kak M also brought something for her. Met a few former colleagues there, my akaks - Kak T, Kak Z, Kak N, Kak J and Kak R. But only for a while because we came late. There's a miscommunication. Never mind la. So happy to meet all of them 💕. I love Kak F's moist lemon cake. She baked it. And her kerabu mangga was superb. Better than mine. It's ok. I'm learning. And she has lots and lots of bromeliads. Wow! They're bigger and prettier. Waa!
Today, as planned, my small family went to Kajang to attend Itam's eldest daughter's wedding. Congratulations Tam. As usual, after we had  lunch,  my husband and our son sat somewhere to give me a chance to meet my friends. Thank you. I really appreciate it.  Achik had already booked a table for our RR friends. So I sat together with Achik, Usu and her daughter. Then we saw Alang and waved at her. Yong, her two daughters and Adik joined us after having their lunch.  Lots of photos were taken. Still had the ngilai-ngilai part. That one we couldn't avoid but not loud la. A girl came and put a satay set on our table. Thank youuu. Twenty minutes before 2 p.m. Alhamdulillah, Along and her son reached the place. Yes! The right time to take photos with the bride's mother @ the host, our cute Itam at the entrance. After that, all of us moved to the wedding dais. Continued taking photos.  Then the bride and the groom came with the MC. Our Itam told the MC that her gang, ...
Husband just returned from a kenduri. H  : I try not to eat rice at night but tonight, I had to eat it. W : Yalah it's kenduri. Everybody must eat.  H : And it's hard to say no to " udang galah ". And it's big. Each of us took one only.  He glanced at his wife. She just kept quiet. He knows "Udang or any seangkatan dengannya" is his wife's favourite.  While he was having his tea, his wife came. W : How did you feel when you ate that udang galah? H : I felt guilty. I know it's your favourite. Wife looked at him, waiting for him to continue his story. H : But you're not there. W : So.... H : I ate that udang galah for you.  Husband laughed. W : Hmmm.....sabar........
