Bittersweet

Medicine is bitter but we must eat it.. then we'll be healthy. If we don't eat the medicine, we won't get well. Sugar is sweet and we love it . But too much sugar is not good for health.  Medicine is like the test that Allah gives us. We have to face it.  Insya Allah, we'll become stronger. Don't blame Allah if we face any difficulties.  Allah is our Creator. Allah won't leave us . Innallaha ma'ana.  Sugar is our happiness . Of course, we can be happy. We can enjoy ourselves but please don't forget the unfortunate ones. Must remember to help them. Share our rezeki. Don't ever think all the rezeki that we got is ours. It's not good. Ok bye!

X towkey

We had dinner in one of the restaurants in Gemas. We ordered a few dishes and one of them was sweet sour ikan siakap. They fried the fish too long and it was hard for my mother to eat it.  After paying the meals, my husband and my son left first. I had to wait for my mother. So the guys asked me about the fish. I told them not to cook the fish too long next time. And they said, " tadi garing sikit, kak ". I said , " No. Sangat garing so my mother cannot eat it ". But I told them that the sauce was good. They kept smiling until my mother said something about business and they stopped smiling.  Sighhhh. My mother was a towkey . She started selling  fish, prawns,  bla bla n bla in the market in 1973 . She was the first Malay selling fish there. At first she had no customers  because she was new , she's Malay and she's a woman. But she made a few marketing strategies for her business. Just share one . She's the first person to provide service for cutting an...

Have fun , no stress

Alhamdulillah. This morning, my son had his English oral test and the way he explained to me his answer, I think he had done his best. His tuition teacher helped him a lot. Gave him the motivation that I couldn't do . How to motivate my boy?  Every time I told him that he could do it and English is not  difficult. It's easy to pass.  Then he would respond, " yalah , it's very easy for you but not for me." He still feels inferior . So I made a right decision by hiring a tuition teacher . I told the teacher the reason, why I couldn't teach my boy and she understood my problem. Thank youuuuuu.  It's better to have a back up plan. When plan A didn't do well , switch to another plan. Of course , they're different but they have the same goal. Ok bye!

Selfless

My late father always said , " Ambillah, abah dah biasa makan " while we're having our meals. He would say that when there's extra food or when the food was not enough. He would let his children eat it. He's a selfless father. He never thought of himself . Always the children first.  Now, we are the parents. And we do the same thing to our children. We always think of them first. Do they eat enough food, do they like the dress that we bought, bla bla bla and bla.  We just want our children to be happy. And when we realise that there's not enough food on the table, we will tell our children that we have already eaten  or  simply say " mak dah biasa makan, ambillah ".  Yup! Just like our parents did  to us before.

Bunga Gang

I saw my neighbours, kak H and Che J in front of my house. I just returned from buying breakfast. I greeted them and they were so happy to see me. They said, " orang pencen sudah balik". I invited them to see my garden and they accepted it excitedly. They thought the right yard minimalist garden was the one that I wanted to show them. I laughed and took them to my backyard . They were surprised to see all my vegetables plants and looked at me . May be they were impressed.  From the vegetables side, they saw my flowering plants and the non ones. Then they asked me why I made my garden at the backyard. I told them that they hadn't seen all yet and I asked them to continue walking until they reached my left yard garden. Not that far hahaha . Only they were curious so they walked slowly. Taraa "banyaknya bunga!" They asked me where I bought the plants and how I planted them. I told them the history of my plants, including the bromeliads that I received from Kak M. ...

Duk ontok ontok?

Buat baik berpada-pada, Buat jahat jangan sekali. My late father's advice πŸ‘† Be good - we lose nothing , we gain something . My mottoπŸ‘† But how about if people don't give our right or take our right, do we have to keep quiet?  Tak mau gaduh-gaduh. What about we know it's not right, but we prefer to keep quiet? Tak mau gaduh-gaduhlah.  Are we doing the right thing?
