From Aku, with love

There's a post about my experience as a teacher with my students ❤️ . The title is "patient". 

My mother and I wanted to do our qurban here this year but it's a bit complicated. So we decided to follow my husband's step to do it somewhere. Alhamdulillah, we had settled the payment and Insya Allah, the ustaz in charge will share with us the qurban video later.  Why should I do qurban every year? Well, I listen to my late mother-in-law's advice. And what she said is correct. Qurban is only once a year, during Eid al-Adha. Only specific animals like sheep, goat, cow or camel. It is performed in a specific month and specific days. Sadaqah is different. We can sadaqah anything, do it anytime and anywhere. To me, qurban is very special.

On my son's birthday, my husband took us to have dinner at Restoran Klasik Terapung, Melaka. Alhamdulillah ❤️. My son ordered the food - tomyam campur, ketam telur masin and chicken mango. Love his choice. And yesterday , we attended our abang masjid's son's wedding. The hall is cute. It's for less than 500 guests. My husband also likes the hall. I told him that the hall was good for our event. My husband asked me, " our son's?" I shook my head and said, " our 30th wedding anniversary ler next year". I looked at him, smiling. But he said, " ishhh". Hahaha. Only teasing him. 30 years! Wow! Thank you Allah ❤️. And today, yes makan- makan with Yong 🎀, Alang 🎀,  Ateh 🎀 and her son. Before going to my house to take their bromeliads, we set a time and a venue to have our lunch together in Bandar Satelit. We cooked, talked, ate, cooked, talked, ate , cooked, talked, ate hahaha. Today is my son's birthday ❤️. Alhamdulillah ❤️. No birthday present this year. We just took him to Melaka ler. We went from one place to another. At first, he wanted to watch Ejen Ali The Movie 2 alone but he changed his mind. He wanted to watch it with his best friend. Oklah. I watched Ejen Ali The Movie 1 on TV3 with my son. He explained to me the characters and the story. I was impressed, not only with the movie but also his explanation 👍.  Then we performed our solat Asar and I put some money into the "Tabung Masjid" . It's my son's birthday so I prayed ( doa ) all the good things for him. Aamiin ya Allah ❤️. After having dinner, we went home. Just a simple one.

The best gift from Allah ❤️, My son, I became a mother. The best gift from Allah ❤️, My husband, We complete each other. The best gift from Allah ❤️, My parents, They're my advisers. The best gift from Allah ❤️, Performing Hajj, I learn patience and love.  Thank you Allah ❤️.

I didn't cook yesterday. My son and I had to go to the town. After we settled our work,  we walked to a restaurant nearby to have our lunch. I didn't drive. My son booked a Grab car . For each venue that we wanted to go, he would book a Grab car first. It's easy, cheap and very comfortable.  It also helps people who have a parking problem, hmmm like me ler.  And ta-da.....we reached home safely. Alhamdulillah ❤️.

When your partner feels sad, do something to make him or her happy. Know his or her soft spot. For example, if your wife loves gardening. Surprise her by taking her to a nursery. She will look at you open-mouthed, then she will smile. She will forget all her sadness and only think of the plants that she's going to buy. Simple!

Attended a wedding reception.  My family reached the venue early. Entering the hall, I love its decoration. It's an air conditioner hall. On the beautiful stage, which was full with colourful flowers,  I saw a wedding dais and.... it's like calling me. "Mari mari mari". I looked at my husband and said, "let's take photos at the wedding dais . Only my bang teh's family here". And he agreed. I asked my nephew ( the groom's brother ) to take our photos. So my husband and I went to the stage. We sat on the dais and my nephew started klik klik. Thank you ❤️.  After that my husband and I went to our table. We had a chat with my niece ( kak lang's daughter ) and her husband, kak chik and her husband and bang ngah. They just reached. My mother sat with bang long's family. I was not active because I didn't want to feel tired and have a fever like before. I felt comfortable, enjoyed eating my nasi minyak and  varieties of lauk. They're deli...

I cooked masak lemak cili api ikan sembilang today. I bought three ikan keli at pasar tani this morning. They're quite big and long. The fish monger helped me cut the three fish into a few pieces. I washed the fish with limau kasturi ( from my garden ) and salt. Then I grilled the fish using my Europlus emerald multi cooker. But not all the grilled fish i put into my masak lemak because my son and I like eating the grilled fish panas-panas. For the recipe, I  just googled. Easy!

May 15 Alhamdulillah it rained yesterday. Although it's not a heavy rain, it rained. Alhamdulillah ❤️. Yesterday morning, I called my sister, kak chik . She was at my mother's house. I invited her, my bang ngah, my brother in law and my mother to join me and my son to have lunch at a steamboat and grill restaurant in Bandar Satelit. I also called bang ngah to inform him about the restaurant location.  My husband didn't join us because he's working. Next time ok.  At 12.30 p.m. all of us were there except my mother. She's going to Putrajaya with my nephew. But I told my mother not to be sad. I will take her to that restaurant when she's staying with me.  I chose a seafood set but i don't think it's enough . So I added Dory fillet, squids, chicken meat and scallop. We had rice but I also added maggi. Ok lah. The restaurant owner was so generous. She gave us a plate of satay meat. Wahhh. We said thank you.  All of us really enjoyed our meal. Alhamdulillah ❤...

May 14 My friend, Adik 🎀 came to my house yesterday afternoon. She wanted to take the bromeliad that I promised to give her. I had extra so it's better to give it to my friend. A plastic jar of tempeyek, a gift from her. Thank you ❤️. She proudly said that it's the best tempeyek and after I ate it, yup she's right. I cooked masak asam pedas ikan jenahak for her and my family. When she's ready to have her lunch , using my Europlus emerald multi cooker, I started grilling the squids, the prawns and the chicken meat on my kitchen island. And they're grilled in front of her. She was like in a Japanese Restaurant. Makan panas panas ler. She shared the pictures and video while I was grilling the food with our 🎀 group. And they were also excited.  Then we moved to the dining table and had a long chat. I gave her a small plastic jar of popia simpul. It's my doorgift. I thought of buying something else for her but I didn't have time to go to that place yesterday mo...

My husband and I visited my mother. Brought mi kari for her and my brother. Then I gave my mother the Ariani tudung that I bought. Alhamdulillah, it fitted her face nicely. She likes the colour and is easy to wear. No need to use a brooch. Before I left, I kissed my mother's forehead and prayed for her good health and happiness. Aamiin ya Allah ❤️. Last night, my son sent me a mother's day video with my photos on it. Love the wording , the music and I'm touched. Thank you ❤️. 

Happy Mother's Day! I think my husband forgot about it. But he did ask where I wanted to go today as tomorrow is a public holiday. I told him the place. So he took us to Ayam Bakar Station, Port Dickson to have our lunch. I told him it would be my treat. He just nodded. I ordered "nasi putih + ayam madu" and "air kelapa" for the three of us. After paying,  we walked to the car. Our son wished me Happy Mother's Day. I smiled and said thank you. I told my husband that it's my treat today because I wanted to show my love to both of them. Then he said , " it's your day today so I will take you around as you love listening to the songs while I'm driving". From Port Dickson, he drove to Tanjung Agas then Kuala Sungai Baru, Masjid Tanah, Alor Gajah,........I was so happy. Sometimes , I looked at my husband while he was driving. When our eyes met, he would smile. Only Allah knows my  abundance of love for  this guy. I want to make him happy and...

My husband, our son and I went to Mahkota Parade first before I bought two tudungs at Ariani, one for me and another one for my mother. I really hope it fits my mother's face. Then we went to have our lunch at Restoran Ayam Madu Kelate.  Not only ayam madu but varieties of food there. Lots of choices.  We were supposed to perform our Zuhur solat when we reached home but I wanted to urinate, so we stopped at my sister's house. My kak chik.  Her granddaughter was so happy to see me. She shouted my name. I told her that I wanted to go to the toilet. It's an emergency. Then she called her grandparents to open the automatic gate. Thank you 💕.  After solat, we had a chat with kak chik and my brother-in-law. It's a long chat. So many stories hahahaha. Oh ya I gave kak chik some mangoes that I bought. The seller said that they're harum manis mangoes. Iye ke? They're quite cheap so I bought a lot.  And this evening, we went to pasar malam. I bought pita kebab and ayam p...

In the bedroom, a husband was advising his wife. H : bla bla bla bla bla  His wife kept quiet. After her husband finished talking, she looked at him and asked...... W : Who are you talking to? H : The wall. W : hahahaha

I went to pasar tani with my son this morning. While talking to the fishmonger, someone asked me, " Do you know me?" I looked at her and wanted to say sorry. But when she said, "Akak ma...," I stopped her and asked , "ha, akak masjid kan?". She smiled and said, "yes". She told me that she seldom went to the mosque because her husband's not well. Then she asked me , "I heard you retired early". I just said yes. And another question and another question, then before she left, she told me that she retired when she was 56 years old. I just showed 👍. Good la.

I just had my breakfast at home. I made fried rice. There's a leftover tenggiri masak kicap that I cooked yesterday, so I added it to my fried rice plus an egg. Oklah. It saves my money and energy. And the taste - not bad. Boleh la. Maybe tomorrow I will go out.....to pasar tani ler. This afternoon, I will cook "tulang masak lemak cili api". Ala only a few chilli api. I need my bibik, Noxxa pressure cooker to help me.  Last Saturday, I had a fever + flu so I didn't cook until Monday. And yesterday, I felt ok so I cooked. Alhamdulillah. Maybe I felt tired after attending a few weddings and meeting many people last month.  Luckily, this month only one. Ops sorry. Two invitations. Never mind la. I will go. # Oh ya some people , they keep quiet when they have a problem. But we know, so we just help them, especially if they're our relatives. Ok bye and take care 💕.

After watching episode 25, I didn't want to miss the next episodes of "Keluarga Itu" drama. And this Friday will be the last episode of that drama. Before this, I just watched its highlights on YouTube but I still understand the story. I didn't want to watch its early episodes because I didn't have the heart to see what the father did to his daughters. The life that Mia, his elder daughter had to go through, her pregnancy and drug addiction. And Dini, the youngest one who's autistic. If only she could tell her mother (Ibu) how bad her father is then she wouldn't be her father's "key of happiness". But will Ibu listen to her as Ibu didn't believe what Mia, her sister had said about the person who made Mia pregnant? Some people avoid watching this drama because they cannot accept if this kind of thing happens to their family . But it did happen in our society. It's hard to swallow the truth.

My husband, my son and I went to Melaka this morning. We went to one place first.Then AEON Ayer Keroh because my husband wanted to buy something for his friend who's going to retire. After performing our Zuhur prayer, we had lunch at "Dap'O Nasi sup daging bakar" at MITC. It's our favourite restaurant.  Before going home, we went to Akids Diecast Store, Bukit Katil. It's only a small shop but looking at the things they sell, I was impressed.
