Last Saturday night, I really enjoyed myself. I had a great time. Thanks to Along RR who sat beside me. She made me laugh a lot that night. It's good to meet her, Adik RR and her daughter, Ateh RR , her son and daughter in law, Alang RR, Achik RR, Yong RR and her two daughters, Itam RR and her husband. And my former schoolmates were also there. So happy to meet all of them.  Congratulations to Angah RR. It's a very beautiful wedding reception. The grand dais stage, the food, the goodies ( a box of chocolates, a perfume,....) - they're kept nicely in my memory. I met her siblings too. All are ladies . Although I recognised only one of her sisters ( the mole on her sweet face ), they remembered me well. They looked at me and straight away, they knew it's me. Thank you. And I met Angah RR's sharp memory mother. She looked at me and said my nickname. I laughed and hugged her. May Allah bless her with good health.  Watching the lovely bride and the handsome groom on the ...
Going to ........ today. It's Angah RR's son's wedding reception. And Insha-Allah, my RR friends and ex- schoolmates will also be there. I'm looking forward to seeing all of them. And of course, Angah's family too.
H : Why didn't you eat the fruits that I bought ? Are you having toothache? W : No lah. It's because of bla, bla, bla.................  ( continue ) bla , bla, bla................... ( continue ) bla, bla, bla........ (continue) bla, bla, bla.....(STOP). H : Ohhh you just said la , you don't like apples. You like oranges. Next time, I'll buy you oranges, ok? W : Ok.
My bromeliads' operation was done successfully. Now, I have nine bromeliad babies. Each baby bro is planted in a different pot. All of them have their new home. Only without their Induk (the mothers). They will grow well. Insya-Allah. We went to the nursery after breakfast this morning . I bought plastic pots - five average plant pots and two big ones. I also bought soil. My husband helped me to carry those things. Thank you. He's my hero. The soil activity, I will do it  tomorrow or this Friday. I'm going to put two or three plants in one big pot. So , there will be different colour of flowers in one pot - red, pink and may be yellow. Luckily, my husband is ok with my hobby. But I think he's proud of me. When we moved into our house in 2010, I hired the nursery workers to do the planting job (left side yard). They did everything. I only watered the plants. But this time, I did all - planting, watering, repotting (right side and back yard). Yup, I'm very satisfied w...
Cuti-cuti Malaysia today. My husband took me and our son to Muar first. After performing Zuhur prayer, we continued our journey to Segamat. Wow, we didn't know it's durian season there. King of fruits.  My husband gave us a treat. Thank you. We reached home around 5 p.m. Alhamdulillah.  And tomorrow, I will cook. Yalah,  let my husband relax at home.
My family went to Melaka last Sunday.. When we're going to leave Mahkota Parade, we bumped into kak chik's family. Very happy to meet my sister, my brother in law and my niece. After that, we went to Jakel Melaka. I just bought two cloths. One for me and another one for my mother. I still can use last year's  baju raya because I rarely wear them. I prefer wearing Sabella if I go anywhere. Only special events, I will wear baju kurung. Thank you to my husband for his gift. It's a very soft fabric. Thank you so much. I have two cloths now which means two new baju kurung. Jadi ler. Alhamdulillah.  Oh ya, we dropped by my niece's clinic on our way home. So proud of her.  It's winter in some countries. The children are hungry and cold. Please don't forget to help them.
I always raised my hand if I saw my neighbour while driving my car, either male or female but not all ler.  Older than me or younger a bit than me, yup I will raise my hand if I see them. The young ones, I just drove my car straight without looking left or right.  My husband laughed when he saw me raising my hand while he was driving. He told me that may be, I was the only lady in my taman who raised her hand to the male neighbour. He thought I was weird and I think the guys also have the same thought. The guys were shocked at first but they also raised their hand to me. So, no problem laa. It's like saying hello.
I upgrade my spring garden. It's not only a garden, it's also like a nursery. But the plants are not for sale, except if I'm not around ler. Now, I have seven bromeliad babies. Three of them are for my RR friends. The other four, I will keep because I only have the "induks" (mothers).  And I also have babies from other plants. Need to buy big plastic pots and packets of soil. May be in one pot, I'm going to put two or three different colour of  flower plants. My mother gave me the ideas. Thank you. Make my garden more colourful and so does my life.
Have you had this experience? I mean the wives. If the way we spoke to our husband is not right, then something would happen to us. Well, it happened to me many times. I knocked my head on the cooker hood. Ouch. My knee hit a coffee table. Aduiii.  But the worst is when my hand was stung by a bee. Sakitnyaaaa.  It's an old story. Only my husband and I. We were in Kelantan at that time. It was hari raya. My husband was having fever so we couldn't go anywhere. I was frustrated. So I told my husband ( or may be I forced him ) that he must go to a clinic. After my husband parked his car near the clinic, I opened the car door. And suddenly, a bee landed on my left hand and stung it. I was shocked and it was very painful. When we met the doctor, not only my husband got the medicines , I also got it. And there's extra treatment for me. The doctor gave me an injection because my hand was swollen. He asked me, "When did the bee sting your hand?" And he was surprised when I...
Oh ya. I watched Family Duo 4's final concert last night. There're two magnificent performances.   The first round-  Ayie floor 88 and his cousin, Salma. The second round- Shiha Zikir and her sister, Ieda.  Congratulations to Shiha and Ieda Zikir for winning the grand prize. But the best part is when Shiha hugged her mother and took her to the stage after the winning announcement. You touch my heart, girl.
Last Thursday, I received unexpected guest, my nephew ( kak chik's son) . He had work to do here, so he came alone without his wife and his daughter. He's  a doctor. I'm very proud of my sister. Three of her children are doctors. Very impressive, right?  I cooked masak asam pedas kepala ikan jenahak ( not that hot la) for our lunch. He and my mother loved it and he also told me about another mouth-watering menu. It's kari kepala ikan. Wahhhh. My husband's favourite.  This morning, I went to the market with my boyfriend, ops my husband ler. I asked him to wait at the vegetables' while I did my fish hunting. I saw a big head of jenahak fish at Nyonya's place. I remembered the menu that my nephew mentioned. Apa tunggu lagi, den bolilah. Yup, I bought the jenahak head. I also bought other fishes and lots of vegetables as my mother is coming tomorrow.  No need to buy the curry leaves because I have a curry plant in my backyard garden .  Today's special menu, ...
I never watched Famili Duo before, so I had no idea about the tv show. This year, I watch Famili Duo 4 and I love it.  I only missed the first episode. While watching the second episode, I was very impressed because certain duos ( not all ) , their performance was outstanding. But the next episodes, I think all of them were amazing. The choreography,  clothes / costumes, background,  props - all were superb. And they used the entire stage perfectly. They also did well by choosing the correct song that suit the theme and their voice. I salute their creativity for every week's performance. It's not easy. We could see that all duos worked hard to give their best to the judges and audience.  And who will be the champion? Never mind la. Although only three duos will perform tomorrow night (Sunday), all the six duos are already the winners because........ they have won my heart.
Yesterday evening, my husband and I had our dinner date at Bandar Satelit restaurant. We teased each other while having our meals hahaha. No need to have a heavy conversation. I wanted him to relax. Only smiled and laughed. I know he's very busy at school. So it's better not to talk about his work except if he wants to.
We should show our love to our loved ones. To our parents, our partner, our children, our siblings and our friends. If you love that person, just say it. Don't feel shy. Let him/her know that we love him/her.  May be, they think there's no need to say those magic words. They assume the persons know about their love so, no need to say laa. But to me, it's important to say those words. We know they love us and they know we love them. But why don't we just say those words " I LOVE YOU" or at least, you put the heart (❤️) emoji below his/her message. And who knows, your loved ones, especially your partner will do the same thing to you.  Insya-Allah.    Early marriage, my husband called me "Nor" but after a few years, he started calling me "Yang". And he will call me "Yang" even when there are other people with us. I felt a bit awkward at first but haiiii,  if he calls me "Yang", it means he sayang la. Ok lah tu. Alhamdulilla...
My mother is staying with me until Friday. This Saturday, she's going to attend  her cousin's kenduri in Melaka. But all depend on her health. Yesterday, bang ngah took her to a clinic first before they came to my house. He told me that they went there a few times this month. But both of us understood the situation. Our mother is 82 years old. Need to take a great care of her.  I always chat with her.  We talked about my late father, tv drama and the coming weddings. Every time, when I was in my garden, she would sat on the chair watching me or she would check the plants. Same when we were in the kitchen, she watched me cooking. And as usual I would bla, bla, bla whether in the garden or in the kitchen. She loved listening to my stories. Well,  I think so.
Every Monday night, we have Al Quran reading at the mosque. From suroh Ad-Duha until suroh An-Nas. After that we read suroh Al -Fatihah then suroh Al- Baqarah ( ayat 1- 5 ). Lastly, suroh Al-Mulk.  Alhamdulillah.  How did I start reading suroh Al- Mulk and suroh Al- -Waqiah every day? Our umrah Mutawwif, Adik H always reminded us on our Umrah WhatsApp group. At first, he asked us to read suroh Al-Waqiah. Every night, he would remind us. I always ignored his message but then came this feeling, I pitied him. So I started reading it every night / early morning. Later, I thanked him . He was so happy because I read it every day. Then he reminded us to read another suroh, suroh Al-Mulk on our WhatsApp group. I think he knew I would read it. Well, he's right. I didn't ignore that message. After I read suroh Al- Waqiah , I will read suroh Al- Mulk. I read it every night / early morning. Thank you.
