Miss you, big sister

On the big day, i helped to clean up my late sister's house and at the same time played with my late sister's grandchild, Anis Rania. She has curly hair like her late grandmother. Last time, her father cut her hair and made it look straight. Then she had fever. So they do not dare to cut her hair anymore. My late sister's room has become her playroom. Lots of toys there. And there was a sink in it. I took her to my sister's room to wash her mouth. That's my first time entered that room after my sister passed away. I looked around that room. There was a window where my sister, kak lang always called my name whenever she saw me. I still remembered her bed was near the window. The place where she always told me her hope for her children, especially the youngest one, her son. I told Rania that was Mimi's room. All her children , nephews , nieces , including their friends called my late Kak lang, Mimi. And that girl kept repeating her name, Mimi, Mimi. I did cry and sadaqah Al Fatihah to my late sister. Yesterday was her son's wedding. My late kak lang managed to see her two daughters' wedding . Idris is the youngest one and my sister's only son. He took care of my late sister without thinking of himself. He didn't continue his study because he wanted to take care of his mother. After his mother passed away, he didn't get a good job so he works as a gardener now. That's how he met his wife.. My big family really made his wedding, grand just like my late sister's wish. We invited all our relatives and their late father's side. Their friends were also invited and the neighbours too. People contributed food and cakes. They're a lot, more than our expectation. Our big family worked together like washing the dishes, replenishing the food, welcoming the guests.... a very good teamwork. I went to my mother's room and saw her crying. I knew she missed my late sister and my late father. But i am very sure my mother's very proud of what we did for the wedding. And i also hope my late kak lang felt the same. insya Allah. Al Fatihah.
