We're on the way home. After our nephew's engagement yesterday, we went to Grand Puteri Hotel in Kuala Terengganu. My husband needed rest because tomorrow (Monday / September 2) he's going to work as usual. So one night in Machang and one night in Kuala Terengganu. Never mind, during this coming school holidays , we will stay in Machang for a few days. My husband did take me to Serri Bakery before we left Machang. Thank you. I like Grand Puteri Hotel because 1. Parking - no problem 2. Room and toilet - clean 3. Food - good. If you're lazy to go out or feel tired, you can have your teatime (D'verandah) and dinner (coffee house) at the hotel. Breakfast-superb. 4. Near a mosque ( Masjid Abidin/ Masjid Putih). My husband just walked from the hotel to the mosque to perform his Subuh prayer. Ok. Take care and ba bye!

In a restaurant. (Wife kept looking at her husband's plate) W : Can I have a bit of your salted egg yolk? Only a bit. H : You can take all. ( Then he put it on his wife's plate ) W : Oh thank you. ( Wife looked at the small, orange food ) W : This is not an egg yolk. It's only a carrot. ( Then the husband put a piece of Holland onion on her plate ) W : La, I thought this is the egg shell.. what's wrong with my eyes? Helppp. H : Carrot is good for your eyes.

A marriage tip. Please marry a guy who loves you more than you love him. Whyyyyy? 1. You're not pretty but he will make you feel you're the prettiest. 2. You're not clever but he will make you think you're smart. 3. You're not a good cook but he will praise whatever you cook . Well, if the guy loves you, he will think all the positive things about you and will appreciate what you do. There's a famous saying, "bila hati sudah suka, kentut pun bau wangi". Am I right? # my blog reached 23,000 views yesterday. Only two words to express my feeling, " THANK YOU ".

Having lunch with my son somewhere. He's still a gamer and he loves it. My husband and I let him continue doing what he likes. One day, when he stops gaming, then we'll help him doing something else. But if he still wants to focus on games and really serious about it, we have no problem. Let him choose his own career as long as he doesn't forget solat because that's the most important one. Sometimes, he reads Al Quran early morning. Alhamdulillah.

My mother returned to her home yesterday. Bang ngah and kak chik will take her to hospital today for her appointment. Lots of things to do at home because my family is going back to Kelantan tomorrow. Our nephew's engagement is on Saturday. I asked Achik RR's help to add me to 83-87 Club WhatsApp (ladies only). Thank you. I left that group last year. I found out one of my friends is hospitalised and I feel bad. Although we are not close, we grew up in a boarding school together. It's a small place so we always met in the hostel, dining hall, school, kolam ( it became our swimming pool during our SPM exam), surau, canteen,......... Lots of memories. May be, I will visit her next week. Insya-Allah.

Yesterday, my son rearranged the furniture in his room. He did ask my opinion but I asked him what he's going to do. Then he explained it to me. I just asked him to follow his plan because it's good. Last night, he settled the furniture rearrangement. When I entered his room, not only me, my husband was impressed too. For the deco, we went to DIY shop and the book store this morning. He bought all the things that he wanted. I gave him the freedom on decorating his room. Just now, while I was cooking, he came excitedly and asked me to see his room. Wahhh, I was speechless. His room looks different. I am so proud of him. I can't do what he did. From rearranging until decorating, all by himself. Bravo!

Received special guests yesterday. My mother's friends but they're like our relatives. They asked me to call them Mak Lang and Busu. They told me that their parents had a difficult life so their family lived with my late great grandmother. It's a longgggg time ago. No wonder the two sisters and my mother are close. They told me the story about my late great grandmother, my late grandmother, my mother and my late father. I just listened to them. But they didn't know me . They thought the youngest one was my kak chik. Ish Ish Ish. Silap tu. I told them I look different compare to my two sisters and my name is also different compare to my siblings. My brothers' name start with a letter "R" and my sisters' start with a letter "S". My late father gave me that name. But they said I look like my mother when she's young. Ya ka? They also visited my garden and like my flowering plants. They asked me about a few plants there, especially Mak lang...

Is it wrong if you spend your money on things that you like? For example, you have a lot of money. You want to buy your favourite things. Yes, go ahead. You want to wear expensive clothes. Yes, carry on. You want to eat in a luxurious restaurant. No problem. It's your money. To me, it's ok as long as you know your other responsibilities. For example, when people ask for donation, don't contribute only RM1. Aiseyman. It's not your level la. Donate more. If people ask for waqaf , without hesitation, just take out money from your wallet and give it to that person. And if you know your family members have a big problem, help them. Give them some money to ease their burden. Consider it as your gift of love. Oh ya . Don't forget sadaqah subuh. I heard a lot of its benefits. Please google. Take care ok and ba bye!

I told my mother, I don't mind taking care of her, She is well or not, I just want to see her. I'm scared, There'll be one day, I get up from my sleep, Go to her room, She's not there. And I call Emak, She doesn't answer, The world will be so quiet. I'm afraid, My heart will fly away, And I don't know how to catch it. Do you want to know why? Simple, She is my Cinta Hati.

I bumped into someone at the market this morning. Both of us looked at each other. I tried to remember who was that kakak. Then I said, "akak masjid". She laughed . Luckily, it's correct. I don't know when I will go to the mosque. This week, I don't think so. May be , after we come back from Kelantan. Insya-Allah. Oh ya, we are going back to Kelantan this Friday. Miss my Kelantan family. Miss Serry Bakery. Miss sugarcane juice. Miss nasi kerabu ayam bakar. I think my husband misses Kelantan more. Sometimes, he listens to Dikir Barat songs at home. And he is not alone. His wife also likes Dikir Barat!

I just finished my work in the garden. Next week , I will put fertilizer on all my potted plants. Supposed to be this week la but I was a bit busy . There are two empty pots because kensom and another plant had a short life. Going to buy two fragrant jasmine ( melur) plants. I have one in my garden but there's nothing wrong to have more. I love its smell, especially early morning. I will put them near the sitting area in my garden but not under the awning. Melur plants need full sun exposure. Oh ya ..good news. Mrs Brom is pregnant again ! Congratulations! I cannot wait to be a surgeon( only a plant surgeon laa ) , cutting here and there. There're two persons in my mind. Who should I give the bromeliad baby? Problem solving of this week. My mother told me that her plant had white things like wet flour on the leaves. So she sprayed .....?.. to get rid of it. After a few days, her plant died. I asked her to use SWiPEL (the serai wangi spray). It's ok ...

It's a very tiring day. Bang ngah took our mother and I to Pantai Hospital. My mother had to do a CT scan for her head to make sure there's no problem. She kept complaining of having headache after that last Tuesday's incident and I was so worried. Alhamdulillah, there's no skull fracture, no blood clot, no internal bleeding. Only bruises on her scalp. And the specialist asked us not to worry. Alhamdulillah. We're very grateful to Allah. Ok ba bye!

My mother is staying with my family. She taught me on how to make the fish soup today. I did it before but I didn't like the taste. Wrong ingredients I think. While sitting on the chair, my mother gave me instructions. When I was confused, I went to her to confirm the ingredients used for the soup and the correct way to cook it. Alhamdulillah, I love it. Even my husband who doesn't like fish soup loves its taste. And the best is of course , my mother's approval. Thank you Makkk. I share with you my mother's recipe. Sup ikan. In BM. Sorry. Panaskan minyak dulu ler. 1. Tumis bunga lawang, kayu manis dan buah pelaga 2. Masuk dan tumis sekali bawang merah, bawang putih dan halia. 3. Tumis 1 sudu besar lada sulah ( is it correct, tumis lada sulah?) 4. Masuk air sikit. 5. Buh sup bunjut 6. Masuk ikan ( Ikan senangin ). Biarkan sekejap. 7. Masuk air lebih banyak. Agak-agak ler. 8. As we had our reunion in Kuala Lumpur last year, so this year, we are going to have it in my house ler. Ateh RR and I are so happy. Alhamdulillah. And I met an old friend in the wedding event yesterday. She also wanted to join our reunion. I think it's ok lah although she's not RR gang. She's PK 1 now. Never mind. In my eyes, she's still the same girl in my group for the lab activities . We laughed a lot remembering the things that we did. Now, I am thinking about the theme. Last time, I thought of red. Tudung or the dress, as long as there's red. A bit also no problem. It's Red Ribbon. Yes, semangat gitu. So, what is the theme for this year? Think, think, think.

Remember the young man who brought a tahfiz boy to azan for my family before we left our home to perform hajj. Sorry, I deleted the post. I am so proud that guy and his partners have opened a cafe in Bandar Satelit. Alhamdulillah. My husband and I went there to have our lunch yesterday. To show our support. I am not his aunty but because our families are close , he calls me Mak Su or Busu. I also wanted to buy their soft cookies but already sold out. I love the red velvet ones. He asked me to come today but I don't think so. Quite a busy day today (August 17). Next time la. Insya-Allah.

Insya-Allah, we'll have it either in September or Oktober. And my mother's birthday celebration is cancel because she will ask someone to cook and pack the food . Then all the packed food will be put at the mosque. I just follow what she wants. It's good.

My son puts all his novels in my husband's room. He only keeps his comics. Now, his room looks like a toy shop / gaming room. He doesn't like people to enter his room because sometimes, he has live game. He doesn't want to be disturbed. But he let me enter his room when he's not at home. He knows I like looking at the toys. And may be, rearrange them. His Mama's hobby. And my husband's room is actually a prayer room and his working room. And I have made that room as a reading room too. I had already arranged the books according to their category . Easy to find the book that I want to read. And there's an old wing chair near the book cabinets. Oklah tu.

Last Tuesday, my mother fell and knocked her head on her kitchen cabinet. Bang ngah called his siblings. I rushed to the hospital. When I reached there, I saw my mother sitting on the wheelchair. Kak chik and Bang Ngah sat near her. My niece, her daughter and her husband were there too. All were worried . Then kak chik's husband also joined us. Her head was X- rayed and Alhamdulillah, there's no problem. At home, Kak Chik took a great care of her. She always " tuam " our mother's head. Thank you kak chik. And Alhamdulillah, the big swollen has become flat . It's her traditional way . When they met the doctor, my mother and my sister did demonstrate the "tuam"process. I think the doctor was impressed with my sister. I also respect my sister. Now, only the bruise is still there. It takes time.

Why is mother so special? Not every woman can be a mother, Some of them try so hard to be a mother, But tak der rezeki. The children? Are they happy to have a mother? Of course! Not every child has a mother, That's why there're orphans. If you have a mother, You are very lucky. Any problems , You can call emak, Anything - emak. You should be grateful. And how lucky you are, If you have a child or children, Children who care about you, Children who always pray for your good health . Your happiness is their happiness, Lucky mother.

I love Diecast cars. I don't know whether it's weird to see an old woman like me choosing Diecast in a mall. There's a day when I was busy choosing the best item for my collection, a few boys who were also busy picking and putting back the toys, looked at me. It's like they wanted to ask me, " Hello aunty. What are you doing here?". I just ignored them. I enjoy looking at my collection. Yalah I can't afford to buy Porsche but now I have Porsche 718 Boxster (Bburago). Hahaha . Jadilah. My husband didn't say anything. He just took us shopping. And he knows what my son and I want to buy. My son and I are collectors but our preferences are different. I love pink and red cars. My son likes cars, motorcycles,.......he doesn't mind the colours. Well, that's good. Varieties are better. I also have my own cabinet to put my collection. Yalah I cannot put my pink Volkswagen Beetle in his cabinet.

Yesterday evening , my mother told me that her right hand looked different. She said that it might be the sign she's going to leave this world. I asked her not to say those words. I don't like. I asked her to be happy and stay healthy. I reminded her about our plan to perform umrah in 2026. She smiled and said, Insya-Allah. Then she told me that she had headache. So I went to my garden, cut a few Aloe Vera and put them into the refrigerator for two hours. Last night, before she slept, I put the aloe vera gel on her hair and started rubbing until it reached her scalp. She loved it. It's cool. My mother loves her husband so much. Although my father had passed away, she still wanted to do something for him. Every month, she contributes some of my late father's pension for the mosque wakaf. It's for his reward (pahala). She doesn't spend all for herself. My husband will give the money to the mosque treasurer. May my parents always be blessed. Aamiin ya Allah.

Lee Zii Jia, A calm young man, But very determined, Nothing could stop him to win the game. He fell many times , But surprisingly, He could still return the shuttlecock. He fell many times, But amazingly, He stood up and continued playing. His techniques were impressive, His net skills made us dumbfounded. He gives Malaysia a priceless gift, The second Olympic bronze medal. Yes, It's not easy to get it, But , He made it possible. Thank you........

You lost at first, It didn't stop you to play harder, You didn't lose your focus, You didn't lose control, And the word "Surrender" - it never crossed your mind. You're jumping and smashing in the court, We're jumping and clapping at home, Sweats covered your face, Tears dropped on our cheeks. Shouting and screaming, In Paris and in Malaysia, Thank you for the first Olympic medal, We don't care about its colour, We care about your struggle , To give Malaysia this precious gift. To Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, We say thank you, Malaysia says thank you. Yes! Yes! And Yes!
