A calm man. Who?

Last Friday, there was a Maulidur Rosul procession at my husband's school. After that, the muslims had a Maulidur Rosul talk. Then, they had class as usual. When my husband reached home, he told me that he forgot to wear his samping that morning. I looked at the sofa, OMG his samping was still there. I asked him many questions, did the teachers tease you, what did the principal say, did the students ask you..My husband just answered, "Saya cakap saya lupalah". He really forgot about his samping. i cannot imagine my husband going to the canteen, surau, classes , any where in his school only wearing his baju melayu without samping. Pity him. I asked him, "Why didn't you call me?". He just said , " Never mind. I didn't want to trouble you ". Haiii someone has stolen my heart...

Relax and enjoy

Hello! i am in my spring garden, looking at my colourful, amazing baby flowers. It's windy here. Behind me are my purple lavender plants. I love watching my red roses, syrup smell rose kampung ( pink roses) and my cute Japanese roses. The four different colours of hibiscus look great. Even the colourful lantanas ( bunga tahi ayam) make me smile. I can see my sexy maroon Alamanda shaking its body. I have plumbago which reminds me of the sea. And the bright red Camellia, the favourite colour of ladies' lipstick. Some of the flowers , i don't know or forget their name. But i give them a special name like Putih, Peach, Yellow, etc. Very special, right? hahahaha. Next to my spring garden is my vegetables corner. I have curry, limau nipis, limau kasturi, limau purut ( all the three lime plants ), pandan, Rosemary, lady's fingers ( bendirlah), chilli, kesum and telang plant. I am still waiting for my big pots to plant lemon grass and kantan. Dahsyat right? Very impressive hah...

Why me?

i still remember my first week went to the mosque a few years ago. They were having berzanji because it's the month of Maulidur Rosul. After Maghrib prayer, we would always have it. Ops sorry. Berzanji is praises and narration of our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. The best part of berzanji is it is conveyed in song form. There's a special rhythm. i am not good and i don't know how to do it. That night, we had it as usual and as usuàl , i just listened to them. Some of them were very good. Sometimes, the ladies' turn , sometimes, the guys'. But unexpectedly, when it came to the ladies' turn, one of them said, Cikgu ( teacher) . Mesti cikgu pandai ( teacher must be good). I was looking at the berzanji book but when nobody did it as it was quiet, i lifted my head. Then i realised everybody was looking at me. Oh it's me "cikgu". Of course i panicked. I told them that i am an English teacher (that time) so i don't know how to berzanji. Was it a good excu...

Freedom

Hello! This morning, i made my nasi lemak CB. My Kelantanese husband loved the sambal. My mother was the one who taught me how to do it but i did alter a bit. i only thickened the sambal and it's more umph. Then, i had my breakfast alone in my garden. Looking at the birds flying high and low, i remembered the famous phrase, i want to be free like a bird or easy to say - i want to have my freedom. Teenagers like saying that. They want to leave their parents' house because they don't like to be controlled or lectured. They just want to enjoy , do whatever they like with their friends. Sighhhhh..hello! if you want to enjoy and have fun, are you sure you will never feel hungry, you will never feel sleepy? You are not a robot. Where are you going to eat? What are you going to eat? Just close your eyes, zam zam ala ka zam , chicken chop is on your lap. In your dream laaa. Of course, you need money to buy food. If you leave home, where are you going to stay? You want to stay with ...
