Sunday Routine

Hello! Good morning. i went to the market and bumped into my friend, Adik W. She's a very pretty teacher. She thought I just bought a few things but actually, my husband and my son had already taken the fish and chicken from me and waiting in the car. Hahahaha I am a housewife now so, there're many things need to be bought. Then my family went shopping at Mydin, before going home. This is my Sunday routine. But whatever, we always start our Sunday with breakfast first. Haiii no need to cook, we just had it at Kedai Makan Paya Serai near the market. I love its Rojak Mi, my husband's choice is Mi Kari and my son, a simple nasi lemak. Now, back to the things that we bought. My job is to arrange and put it at its place either the fridge or the pantry. Last time, i used kuih raya plastic jars to put the dried chillies, anchovies, gula melaka, bla bla bla and bla. Jimat maa, no need to buy. But my husband is different. He was not satisfied. So, he bought Mooca Air Tight food con...

Happy in your own way

Hello! I just checked the statistic of my blog. Wow, the view now is 6537. For this month only, the view is 1505. There are viewers from Malaysia and other countries but most are from Malaysia. i don't know what to say. i just shared my story and my experience. Anyway, thank youuuu. Well, today's topic is about mental health. It's a serious topic and i mean it. When I was a teenager, we always used the word IQ. The ones who were very smart, we considered them as having high IQ. Everybody was proud of these high IQ people. But, we are in a different situation now. Not only teenagers; primary school students, adults, professionals, even senior citizens, all have the same problem that is STRESS. The pressure is high or may be, very high. And for this, we need our hero, EQ. As for me, having high EQ is better than high IQ. We must know how to control our emotion because if it didn't work well, it will affect our health. And that's not good. Make yourself happy in your...

Sorry!

Hello! Good evening! I read an article about sadaqah to animals like the plants insects. The lady said if the insect ate our plants, it means it's not our rezeki. just consider it as sadaqah to the insect. I was like alamak. I remember all the small insects that i killed because they ate the leaves, the flower buds,...haiii i shouldn't do that. So this week, i saw the ants, the red bugs on the leaf and on the flower. I noticed how tiny their tummy is. I don't think they can eat all my flowers and the leaves of that plant. I didn't do anything to them. i didn't kill them. i just left. When i sat and looked at my garden, it's like spring season. It's a colourful sideyard and backyard garden. i have red, orange, yellow, pink, maroon, blue, purple, peach, white flowers. They have dark and light colours. This is what my friend, late Mashitah missed - the colours. There were also birds flying and chirping. That's why i don't have grasshoppers and snails in...

My birthday

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to....., happy birthday to me. Yehhhhh. September 23, yup it's my birthday today. Early morning, while i was sleeping, someone kissed my cheek and said "Happy birthday......" That's the first birthday wish and of course it's from my...drum roll please...yes from my habibi, my husband. After breakfast, my cinta hati, my mother called me. She was so excited wishing me for my good health, wealth and long life. But after that she cried. I also wished her the same things and both of us ended crying. Haiii we are indeed emotional family. Then, i received beautiful wishes from my Keluarga Hj...... . and my Red Ribbon gang. Ops i forgot my son. He sent me a special birthday video with my picture in it. I love the video so much. He is good at it. My son is not here with me, so there's no celebration. Thanks for all the wishes and i love all of you. I change a bit this famous quote, " Family and friends are...

Nasib nasib

Hello...yesterday on the way to my MIL's house, we stopped at Serri Bakery, Syurga Makanan dan Dessert. This is the best bakery to me. There're a lot of choices like durian crepe, hokkaido cupcakes, batik sarawak cake, burnt cheese cake, puddings, bla..bla..bla and bla. So many. i couldn't think well when looking at the cakes. Luckily, i was not drooling. I just bought Rainbow cheese cake because my husband kept saying "take one only" before I went to that bakery alone. And as a good wife, i must listen to him. So, this morning, after having breakfast, i took out the cake from the fridge and ate it slowly, only a bit. I think so hahaha. Later, in the afternoon, i bought sugarcane juice, drank and finished it. Wahhh it's so good. Then at home, i started farting. Alhamdulillah, only gas came out. i told my husband the good news. He said ok dah tu. But after the third fart, alamak why the smell changed suddenly. Hurriedly, i went to the toilet and mr diarrhea sai...

What a feeling!

Ke..latee, Ke..latee, ke..late, ke..lateeeee (sing like chow kit road chow kit road song). Yes, i am here in mache, kelate waiting for my husband who is buying nasi kerabu for our dinner tonight. Sighhh. Today, i am having diarrhea. All because of the two day apam pisang that i ate yesterday. It's horrible having diarrhea while travelling to kelantan. I haven't eaten since this morning because i have already had my toilet call 6 times, I repeat 6 times ok or may be more than that...aaaaahhhh( do i sound like tarzan?). And every time, when my husband parked the car, it would be near a toilet. Thank you for your consideration dear. Your wife could walk calmly to the toilet, no need to run hahaha. I had a mixed feeling all the way to Kelantan, excited and disappointed. Excited because i saw many food stalls selling my favourite food. And disappointed because i could only see...haiiii if i buy and eat, i am afraid i will preet, preet in my car. i think i am quite ok now after drink...

"Taj Mahal "

Hello! I am so tired. Lots of things need to do today. Last time, i had a pantore (pantry + store) but now, i have a small store so my husband, my son and I transferred certain things to that place. So, pantry is a pantry. Store is a store. No more pantore hahahaha. Do you know the story of Taj Mahal? My husband is not rich like the emperor. He is only a teacher but he still wanted to build something special for me. He gave me a glass room. He knew i love writing/blogging so that's the comfortable place to do it. And the best is I can have my ladies' meeting there. So far, my RR gang had their lunch in that room. A few female teachers (including two adik PPKI) from my school came to my house last year and also had lunch there. That's the place for gossiping ( membawang) and laughing (ngilai-ngilai). Sigh...how I miss that moment. I really appreciate what my husband did for me. Like what i said earlier, my husband is not a gentleman but he is romantic, ops sometimes hahahah...

Gifted

Hello! I just returned from Melaka. I celebrated my husband's birthday there but that's not the topic that i am going to talk about. Today is about a girl who is very talented. Her mother is my close friend. Actually, her mother is one of my RR gang. We like to share any good news, especially if it is related to our children, career, etc. Although some people may think the news is not that important, who cares. Back to this girl. Her mother shared her first video that was a National Level Choral Speaking Competition. She was in lower form when she took part in the competition. I watched the video and it's outstanding. Next, I did watch her online Bual Bicara Programme with Syamsul Debat. Sorry, I forget the year. She's one of the three students who involved in the programme. They're the penalists. I liked her opinions when being asked by Ustaz Syamsul Debat. She's very smart. And today, her mother shared with me her daughter's video on Tanggang. She's t...

Selamat Hari Malaysia

Malaysia is my country, I was born here and I live here, No matter what people said, Good or bad, This is the beautiful country that I love, And no matter where I go, Proud to say, I am Malaysian.

Take care!

Everybody has his own problem. How good your life is I don't think you are free problem. But some people like to keep quiet, they don't want to share it with other persons. Their face is expressionless. When we look at them, we don't know that they have a big problem. To me, please talk about it with someone that you can trust. Someone who can keep your secret or someone who can help you to solve your problem. If you are reluctant to do it, at least share your problem with God. He is The Best Listener (Maha Mendengar). But if the problem involves your life, please seek help. Don't keep it to yourself. There was a case where the husband always abused the wife but the wife said nothing. She never told her family about it. And she died. Don't let people hurt you. Don't let them do it because of love. If the person loves you, he or she won't hurt you physically or mentally. If nobody loves you, please love yourself. Take care ok.

Two different worlds

Hello! Tomorrow is my dearest husband's birthday. I want to give him a box of fruit tarts ( last year, i gave him a box of brownies and was delivered by Puan A to his school). The problem is i don't have that lady's phone number anymore. sighhhhhhhh. My husband is a not a gentleman but I prefer him to be like that. He always made me laugh although he didn't realise it's funny. Yesterday, I made my berhantu Nasi Lemak Cinta Berahi. He packed the food himself but i really liked the way he arranged each component of that Nasi Lemak. He put the rice first. Next, he put a few slices of cucumber at one side. After that he cut the boiled egg into two and put it at another side. Then the long fried kangkung, he spread it nicely at one side. Lastly, the anchovies sambal, he put it in a small plastic and put it on top of the rice. It's so artistic. Settled every thing, my husband looked at me and smiled. Is it because i forgot to close my mouth while watching his performa...

Key to heaven

Hello! Good morning! This week my cinta hati(my mother) is staying with me. She is 81 years old and believe it or not, she still can cook. My mother always wants to help me in the kitchen but I just ask her to do simple things. She needs to exercise her hands and legs. It's unhealthy if she just lie down or sit. And another important thing is when she helps me, she will feel good and happy. Boost her self-esteem . Let her do simple things like cutting vegetables , onions and sometimes, sweeping the floor. Cooking, nope when i am around. She will sit on the chair and watch me. If she's interested, she will ask me the recipe and how to cook the food. I don't know but i think she is very proud of me. This is her daughter who was not good at cooking, cleaning, gardening, always relied on the maids when she was young but now, I have changed. Hahaha i can cook for her, take her out (only to Bandar Satelitelah), do gardening like her.....but i still cannot compete her. She's t...

A challenging job

Hello! Is it easy to become a teacher? It is not about the teachers' extra works at school. I know they have abundance of work. Remember, i was one of them. It's about their teaching. Is it easy? If it is easy, everybody wants to take that job. Teachers are not only talking in front of the class. They must know how to identify their students' weakness or weaknesses and try to solve the problems. They must also know how to explain to make the students understand. How about if the students are very-very weak or not interested in studying at all? Well, in that case, teachers can do nothing. It's difficult and complicated. BUT, there are a few teachers in my school who can make the very weak students pass their exam. Amazing, right! Very impressive. They sacrifice their leisure time to focus on these students and always think on how to help them. Yup, teaching is not easy so, do you want to be a teacher?

Special gift

Hello! Good evening. Let's talk about a gift that we receive especially from someone that we love dearly. Yesterday, my gorgeous professor friend showed us the money that she got from her daughter. It's not that much but we could feel how proud the mother was, how happy she was, sharing the good news on our RR whatsapp. RR? Ala, our Red Ribbonlah. It's not about the money actually but it's about the remembrance of the daughter to share her allowance with her mother. My friend must be very proud of it. Remember, the tv advertisement about a cute little girl wanted to buy a cadbury chocolate for her mom. She was willing to sacrifice her valuable toys and bracelet to the cashier because she didn't have money. It's touching. Yup, i mean it. My son, so far, he had used his extra pocket money to buy two baju kelawars for me. I was in the shop with him in Kota Bharu and suddenly he asked me to choose a baju kelawar. No wonder , he wanted to follow me. He always prefe...

A sequel, a new chapter........

Hello! I really miss my blog. I thought I have lost it like my old blog and I did check the views. Wow, it's reached 5000. The last article I posted here was last March and this is going to be the first article I use my laptop to type. I always used my phone before. I am a retiree now but frankly speaking, when i go anywhere i prefer to be known as a housewife. But here in this small town, some of them know that I was a teacher so they will call me"Cikgu". They know i have retired and happy with it, especially people in the market. They even gave me a recipe or tips on how to cook the things that i bought. That's so cool. I also learned lots of recipes from Che Nom's youtube like mushroom soup (my gravy was not thick like che nom's one but who cares. It's still a mushroom soup because i put lots of button mushroom in it hahahaha), garlic bread (my family loved it), chicken tortila, salsa (am I right? sounds like a dance haiii whatever...) and fried kue teo...
